Isn’t it time you learned SketchUp? Here’s your chance! Come visit us (virtually!) during an online session of the next BSA SketchUp Bootcamp and learn from an expert. All user levels are welcome, from new users to pros; best practices for SketchUp drawing are emphasized each session, whether you're starting your first SketchUp model or expanding your SketchUp proficiency.
Did you know you can copy objects with the Push/Pull, Move, and Rotate tools? Learn how to use Push/Pull+Copy to make easy work of massing models. Quickly place multiple windows in your building by making Arrays with Move+Copy, or add detail to an arched doorway with Rotate+Copy. Plus I’ll show you how to build a stair in only 3 steps using Divide, Move+Copy and Push/Pull.
What’s the difference between Groups and Components? I’ll make it clear, and include some tips and tricks like using Mirrored Components to develop your model in half the time.
Impress your clients by applying Color and Materials to your SketchUp model, and learn how to use Scenes to save and export views and animations from SketchUp. Plus, I’ll show you how to import PDF drawings and use the Tape Measure tool to set them to scale for efficient modeling, even projecting them right onto your model!
As always, bring your questions and I’ll help you streamline your process and become more adept with SketchUp.
Feel free to bring your fully-charged laptop (and mouse) with SketchUp version 2017 (or later) installed, or just come to watch.
