Please join SEGD Boston on Thursday May 9, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 pm, in the Harbor Room at BSA Space for an evening with Jan Lorenc, founder of Lorenc + Yoo Design. Jan Lorenc will present his insight after more than 40 years in the field.

Jan Lorenc established Lorenc+Yoo Design in 1978 in Chicago. Previously, he designed the logo and signage guidelines for Target Stores, which are used to this day. The company initially undertook industrial design projects, and later began work on large scale signage programs. In the mid-1990s, the firm moved into exhibits, interiors, and architecture. The firm has worked in Korea, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, India, and Japan. Currently, half of their work is in China where it creates the vision and design for brand new towns.

Jan Lorenc was made a fellow of SEGD in 2017.

This SEGD event is co-hosted by the BSA and sponsored by Poblocki.

After the event, please join Architecture Trivia Night from 7:00-9:00 pm in the BSA Space Salt Gallery. There will be pizza and beer/wine for $25. All proceeds will support the BSA Foundation and its mission to build a better Boston.
