The Small Practices Network is pleased to have Peter Gorer AIA, a mediator and architect with over thirty years of practice experience, join us to delve into how we communicate today. With the last several months of coronavirus hazard mitigation efforts, architects have largely completed the transition from in-person to electronic interaction. With this shift in how we work, Peter encourages us to renew our attention to the meaning of trust, and to remind ourselves how powerful mutual trust is for achieving the successful outcome of an architectural endeavor. Trust is a key element in the collaborations we forge with clients, business partners, professional colleagues, support staff, constructors, regulators, product suppliers, and the unnamed multitude of stakeholders populating the architect’s circles of interdependence.

Through our virtual gathering on Zoom, we’ll explore how the urge to win affects relationships; clarify how web-based technologies influence the capability to communicate; and examine some essential elements of trust. We hope you can join us for this timely conversation!
