CAD Modeling and Animation from Photographs

Join us as we christen a new DBUG meeting site at Seaglass Architects in Peabody, MA. Eric Gjerde has an exciting program to present that uses the Hover App to create a 3D model from photographs of a building. He will show how this model can be imported into your CAD program and/or into SketchUp for further refinement, as well as for animations with both site context and entourage. As an extra bonus, we will tour a virtual 3D model of the Notre Dame Cathedral as a springboard for discussion on fire safety and rebuilding.
