Committee on the Environment: Critical Stewardship—designLAB's Hitchcock Center

Join designLAB architects as they present how their approach of Critical Stewardship integrates with environmental goals. Critical Stewardship operates at the intersection of historic design and sustainability, through the lens of community. It borrows strategies and approaches from both to offer improvements to each initiative. designLAB will use their recently completed Living Building Challenge certified project at the Hitchcock Center, along with other designLAB projects to demonstrate principles of Critical Stewardship in practice. The brief presentation will be followed by open discussion and discussion on the projects and philosophy.
