AIA Massachusetts Government Affairs Committee: Election, Legislative and Regulatory Updates

As chairs of the AIA Massachusetts Government Affairs Committee (GAC), we would like to invite all interested members to join us for a new year update.
This month we will discuss plans for engaging the new incoming Massachusetts state legislators, the new speaker of the house, and updates on regulatory and legislative issues affecting the practice of architecture in Massachusetts. In recent activity, on January 3 the joint Conference Committee on Climate released S.2995 An Act Creating a Next-Generation Roadmap for Massachusetts Climate Policy, and we will review its provisions.
As the sole committee of the Massachusetts chapter of AIA, the GAC’s mission is to actively participate in the legislative and regulatory process and encourage public advocacy.
