This presentation will summarize how the various governmental agencies, including Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the United Nations have released assessment reports based on the scientific research of the environmental impact caused by climate change, and global warming. The new-found data and urgent message from these reports has been sent across the architecture, engineering, and construction industries.
It will include the proposed responses and strategies generated from our professions based on this data, which is designed to navigate and reverse impending catastrophes over the next 100 years. It will also illustrate the various successful building projects that have responded to the challenges and have mitigated the crises with innovative design approaches.
