As chairs of the AIA Massachusetts Government Affairs Committee (GAC), we would like to invite all interested members to join us for a new year update.

This month our legislative and regulatory updates will include the Climate Roadmap bill recently signed by Governor Baker, and the DOER’s process for incorporating its provisions and getting public input. We will then feature a presentation by Lisa Carey Moore and Lisa Goodwin Robbins about nationwide and local initiatives around PFAS, sometimes called “forever chemicals.”

As the sole committee of the Massachusetts chapter of AIA, the GAC’s mission is to actively participate in the legislative and regulatory process and encourage public advocacy.
