Sustainability Education: Buying Time—the attempt to develop an integrated landslide warning system in the hills of Medellin

Christian Werthmann, professor for landscape architecture and design at the Institute of Landscape Architecture, Leibniz University, Hannover, will present the process and results of a living laboratory about the integration of a landslide warning system in the unstable hills of Medellin. Important lessons can be drawn from the up and down experiences of the research project for a contemporary design and research practice in the age of climate crisis.
