AIA MASSACHUSETTS GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS: EMBODIED CARBON, LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY UPDATES

This month will feature a presentation by Olivia Humphrey, member of the BSA’s Carbon Leadership Forum (CLF) policy working group, on the necessity and feasibility of embodied carbon standards/reductions. This will be followed by an update on regulatory and legislative issues relevant to the practice of architecture in Massachusetts.

As the sole committee of the Massachusetts chapter of AIA, the GAC’s mission is to actively participate in the legislative and regulatory process and encourage public advocacy.
