11-21 Bromfield Street is designed to be the first zero net carbon (ZNC) office high-rise in Boston. The site’s location at the intersection of Washington and Bromfield Streets will enable the Project to play a significant role in the continuing renaissance of the Downtown Crossing area. The project has a holistic approach that addresses climate mitigation and adaptation but also broader issues of health, equity, water, materials optimization, construction practices, biophilic design and indoor environmental quality. The all-electric, LEED Platinum building will demonstrate the ability and path to create projects of this nature in Boston, and elsewhere, today. Join us for a conversation of how the project achieves ZNC as well as the developer’s perspective on setting this project goal.
