AIA MA GAC to Host Member Discussion of DOER Stretch Energy and Municipal Opt-in Code Proposals

On Wednesday, March 9, 2022, the AIA MA Government Affairs Committee (GAC) will host its monthly, virtual Zoom meeting at 8:30 a.m. We will discuss the Administration's straw proposals for the new municipal opt-in stretch energy code and updates to the existing Appendix 115 AA stretch energy code, as presented by the Department of Energy Resources (DOER) on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. We invite all interested members to attend the DOER presentation on March 2nd and follow up with us on March 9th for an open discussion of their thoughts, concerns, and suggestions related to the DOER's straw proposals. Documentation of the meeting will help form the basis of a written response by the Board of AIA MA to the DOER straw proposals.

As the sole committee of the Massachusetts chapter of AIA, the GAC's mission is to actively participate in the legislative and regulatory process and encourage public advocacy.
