Join us on May 18th for a virtual WID Wednesday with Payette, presenting the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute at Chestnut Hill. The project team will take us through how they adapted a challenging existing site to create a 140,000 sf new treatment center that creates a dignified and safe environment for patients and families. The team will focus on the necessity of clear wayfinding through architecture, maintaining natural light in a densely programmed floorplan, and how they created a warm and welcoming environment for all who used the space.
Payette is a national leader in the design of buildings for academic science, research and healthcare. Within a single office with over 160 dedicated and talented individuals working together, we reject the notion of singular authorship and view collaboration among our diverse staff as the path to innovation. Our single open studio and our belief that the best ideas can come from anywhere together foster a vibrant design culture. We continuously invest in our building types as a long-term project of discovery.
Join us for this presentation and stay for a discussion with the project team afterwards.
