Dear AIA Member

Greater Boston’s housing crisis has emerged as one of the most pressing policy challenges for the region and is the subject of several bills under consideration at the Statehouse.

In June 2018, researcher Amy Dain presented her preliminary findings to the AIA Massachusetts Government Affairs Committee (GAC), which focused primarily on zoning and permitting of multifamily housing and accessory dwelling units for 100 cities and towns surrounding Boston.

On Tuesday, July 9, 2019, you are invited to join the GAC to hear from Ms. Dain as she presents the culmination of her work, State of Multi-family Zoning in Greater Boston. Her presentation will provide fresh data on what is happening “on the ground” in these cities and towns.
