As chairs of the GAC, we would like to invite all interested members to join us for an update on the legislative and regulatory issues that could have an impact on the way we practice architecture here in Massachusetts.

At our February meeting we will discuss:

Engaging volunteers to read and review bills on subjects that overlap with the AIA MA’s 2023-2024 legislative and regulatory goals;

Engaging volunteers in ways to begin in-district meeting with their respective representative and senators; and

Related to state design contracts – gather member comments/concerns related to complying with design team minority participation reporting requirements

As the sole committee of the Massachusetts chapter of AIA, the GAC's mission is to actively participate in the legislative and regulatory process and encourage public advocacy.
