Will the buildings you design stand the test of time? The exterior finish you select for the windows and doors play a key role in the durability, long-term maintenance and lasting beauty of any residential or commercial building. In the course, you will learn about industry standards and factors you need to weigh in specifying the finish based on the project requirements.

Join us for an afternoon of AIA-approved education, networking, and tour of Fenway Park. We’ll start off in the Marvin suite with lunch and a presentation of, “Understanding Key Performance Factors for Window & Door Exterior Finishes ” where you will earn 1 LU, followed by some time for Q&A with your Marvin host and networking with other architects in attendance. We will then join the 5 pm Fenway Park Tour, led by Boston Red Sox staff.

Here is a brief overview of the morning schedule:

3:00 pm – Marvin suite opens – Enter Fenway Park at Gate D where a greeter will meet you
3:30 pm – Refreshments + networking
3:45 pm – Marvin presentation “Understanding Key Performance Factors for Window & Door Exterior Finishes "
4:45 pm – Presentation ends, networking with Marvin host and architect attendees
5:00 pm – Fenway Park Tour compliments of Marvin
6:00 pm – Tour ends and Marvin suite closes

A few other things to note:

This is an in-person event limited to 15 architect attendees. While the Marvin suite is fully enclosed (and heated!), the Fenway Park Tour is mostly outside so you’ll need to dress for the weather.

Updates and reminders will be sent in the week prior the event. If you have any questions or need more information, please email [email protected].
