MKR|MGR: In-house model making at WBA (In-Person)

Join us to see what “in-house” model making looks like at Wilson Butler Architects. From an open collaboration/build area to a modest, purpose built tool shop they produce models and mock-ups of all scales throughout the design process.

Architectural projects at the firm range from performing arts venues in Florida, Boston, and Richmond, VA, to a multitude of entertainment spaces on cruise ships for Royal Caribbean’s many brands. Hosting the tour, WBA Principal and 25-year Modelmaker Alastair Battson will share some of the other models he has made over the years for the likes of HOK Sport, Cesar Pelli and Moshe Safdie.
