Join us for the November Green Roof & Infrastructure Team meeting!

Andreas Dreisiebne will join us remotely from Switzerland to give us a brief presentation that describes how both green roof systems and photovoltaic systems can coexist on a roof together. This will be based on his experiences over many years in Switzerland working with both green infrastructure and renewable energy systems on buildings. We'll follow his presentation with what we hope is a lively conversation about how we can integrate more combined PV and green roofs on our projects.

Speaker Bio
Andreas Dreisiebne has been a member of the board of directors and a project manager at Solarspar www.solarspar.ch in Sissach since 2008 and is responsible for research and development. Solarspar focuses on solutions that combine greenroofs, PV, and system solutions for extreme conditions in the mountains. They realized test-projects in Winterthur, Arosa, Yakutsk and in Moscow. Andreas has been a member of the Group of Experts on Renewable Energy at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, www.unece.org headquartered in Geneva since autumn 2015.
