All interested members are invited to join us for an update on the legislative and regulatory issues that could have an impact on the way we practice architecture here in Massachusetts.
At our November meeting we will:
Receive general update on AIA MA’s legislative and regulatory activity
Receive updates on:
Upcoming Plumbing Board hearing - proposed changes to the 248 CMR 10.00 – including changes to gender neutral provisions
AIA MA proposed Historic District Commission/Local Historic Commission legislation
Discuss
Commonwealth Board of Registration of Architects – Should the 10 year prerequisite licensure requirement for serving on the Board be lowered?
Housing Bond bill – what is in it, and should AIA MA take a position?
As the sole committee of the Massachusetts chapter of AIA, the GAC's mission is to actively participate in the legislative and regulatory process and encourage public advocacy.
