The BSA Foundation's largest children's program, KidsBuild! ventures out of BSA Space to share its love of design with families from the Lena Park Community Center in Dorchester. Volunteer architects will guide families through the KidsBuild! process from a visit to the Building Department for a permit, to materials selection, to the Construction Yard where they will build their designs from recycled materials to contribute to a new neighborhood for Boston.

Lena Park Community Development Corporation welcomes families from across the Greater Boston area to join in KidsBuild! On the Road. Registration is not required. This program is for children age five – 13.

The event begins at 12:00 PM and the last building permit will be issued at 3:00 PM.

For more information or if you would like to volunteer for KidsBuild! On the Road, contact [email protected].

Funding for this initiative is provided by BSA Foundation Provoking Change Legacy Circle Members HMFH Architects and Boston Properties, and by a grant from the Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation. Join the Legacy Circle or donate to support youth design education initiatives.
