IT Wizards: How AEC Firms Can Achieve Seamless Remote Work Experiences through the use of Robust GPU Virtual Desktops (Virtual)

In this post pandemic world, it seems that hybrid work environments are here to stay. However. despite there being a myriad of remote access technologies, we find that the user experience is often different whether they are in the office or remote. In order to alleviate this, firms often have had to resort to providing additional hardware and/or licenses to their remote uses, thereby increasing the it administration, not to mention the firm's budget. But what if there were a way that AEC firms could provide their endusers with the identical workflow experience whether they are in the office or they are working remotely? Enter the Virtual Desktop aka Cloud Desktop. With this technology, the enduser's virtual desktop is the exact same desktop whether they are in the office or they are remote. Also, the new GPU cloud desktops offer more better graphics capabilities for enduser's (e.g. drafters, modelers) who would have traditionally required more robust and expensive hardware.
