Piece by Piece, A new Design Paradigm Comes into View

Our world is changing, faster and faster. Our design processes are changing, too. We may not be noticing. Jim Newman will present and lead us in a discussion of design for a changing climate; low embodied carbon buildings; non-toxic materials; carbon-positive operations; dismantling structural racism in our built environment. All of these new design models and more are adding up to a new design paradigm in which we embellish living communities with buildings that are also alive.
