Event Description

A love of the natural landscape, and designing for generations of families, made Cape Cod an ideal location for Jill Neubauer Architects. Through 30 years of practice, we have learned that designing homes on coastal sites involves honoring the sense of place these communities have and respecting the environment. As architects, we have come to realize that the legacy we create is what we leave behind. Both in the impact each home has on the built landscape and its impact on the environment & inhabitants.

Join us as we study these themes through two special projects: Hurricane Hall, a 1903 seaside summer house in Hyannis Port, and a new contemporary home on Chapoquoit Beach in FEMA’s velocity zone for Buzzard’s Bay.
