Access Committee: Accessibility Compliance for Campus Planning

Join Emmanuel Andrade, co-chair of the Access Committee and Project Manager at DCAMM’s Statewide Accessibility Initiative, for a presentation on creative problem solving to eliminate accessibility barriers in campus planning. During this 60-minute session, Emmanuel will:

• Explain how to perform a campus-wide parking analysis
• Discuss when buildings should be used to solve topographic challenges
• Share ideas to improve navigation and wayfinding
• Provide tips on how to maintain accessibility during construction and how to properly define the limit of work
