Event Description
RODE’s Brucewood Homes in West Roxbury are Boston’s first internationally certified single family Passive House residences. The project – the speculative construction of three single-family residences to the Passive House standard – was only possible through a trusted partnership with a visionary and technologically curious long-time client.
The three homes celebrate their sustainable aspirations with a simple, contemporary form that responds to the site’s topography, ledge, and urban context. Hear how RODE was able to include high performance design standards in the studio’s design approach: crafting concept-driven, contextual design.
