SketchUp Bootcamp: Fall into SketchUp!

Isn’t it time you learned SketchUp? Here’s your chance! Get crackin’ and learn from an expert at the next BSA SketchUp Bootcamp. All user levels are welcome, from new users to pros; best practices for SketchUp drawing are emphasized each session, whether you're starting your first SketchUp model or expanding your SketchUp proficiency.

This month we’ll learn new ways to use simple tools like Rectangle, Push-Pull, and Move to change the way you make models in SketchUp. Draw Rectangles in square and golden section proportions, or even draw from the center. Locate doors and windows precisely! Copy objects with Push/Pull and Move to efficiently build your models, and quickly array objects, even with the Rotate tool, to become more productive with SketchUp.

Are parts of your design off-axis? No problem! I’ll teach you 2 ways to make it easy to create your model in different Axes and keep it all organized using Groups and Scenes.

Feel free to bring your fully-charged laptop (and mouse) with SketchUp version 2017 (or later) installed, or just come to watch.
