Passive House Massachusetts Annual Symposium—Passive House is here to stay!

Passive House is a leading energy efficiency standard, and many proponents advocate it as the most efficient in the world. The keynote will discuss how Passive House can be a cornerstone of a post carbon sustainable future. The following session will address how Passive House technology can be approached as goal for building codes, and how the legislative process should be addressed by practitioners. In the afternoon, there are two tracks. The first will cover the marketing and financing of high performance homes, with presentations by two practitioners describing their larger scale Passive House multifamily buildings. The second track will cover the trade-off between photovoltaics and insulation - how best to optimized building energy efficiency - along with a discussion by various practitioners of their favorite wall sections.

For those who qualify, 1.25 LUs per session attended are available.
