Placemaking through Sound and Light

Join us as Ryan Edwards, Maria Finkelmeier, and Sam Okerstrom-Lang of Masary Studios discuss their practice of re-imagining place through sound, light, performance and video projection-mapping. Recognizing the inherent and universal vocabulary of composition in architecture, music, and animation, Masary looks to reconsider urban public spaces through their work. The unique sonic, social and geometric qualities of any given site and the opportunity to expand the public’s relationship to these elements going forward is at the heart of their practice.
