Contemporary and Temporary: Creative Placemaking and Tactical Urbanism
We are in the midst of a public art paradigm shift. As most cities struggle to afford investment in monumental public art and new high quality public realm designs, public spaces are missing the vital programs that aid in full activation potential. Moderator: Christina Lanzl, Director, Urban Culture Institute
Panelists: Julie Burros, Chief of Arts and Culture for the City of Boston; Christine Dunn AIA, Chair of Arts & Culture, Sasaki; David Nagahiro AIA, CBT, Master Planner “The HUB”; Janet Echelman, Artist, Chris Janney, Artist
