In a 2010 study, the City of Boston found that the number of wheelchair accessible units in the city would accommodate only 1/5 of the 50,000 residents who need them. As the mayor’s office actively pursues an “innovation” agenda in housing, what efforts can be made to address this critical shortfall?

Join the BSA Access Committee and local disability advocates, policy makers, and designers for a panel discussion about the potential—and limitations—that the trend toward compact living present for residents of all ages and abilities.
