The Proposed Changes to 521 CMR: an Access Committee Conversation

As many are aware, the long-awaited proposed changes to 521 CMR are now making their way through a legislative process that is expected to result in their final promulgation. The “red-line” PDF version of these changes is now available for download here on the AIA MA Government Affairs Committee web page.

During the coming months, we anticipate the Access Committee playing an important role both in the dissemination of accurate information regarding the ongoing process, and in the collection of opinions and concerns from architects and other professionals to share through the public comment period.

Please join Emmanuel Andrade and Josh Safdie Assoc. AIA for an open conversation about this important regulatory initiative. We will provide an update on the regulatory process and then will ask participants to share concerns and comments, both specific and general. We recommend reviewing the “red-line” PDF prior to attending the meeting.
