Our guest speaker this month will be Steve Long, Director of Government Relations for Massachusetts The Nature Conservancy and co-chair the Massachusetts Climate Change Adaptation Coalition (which AIA MA is a member of).

Steve will lead a discussion covering the following topics:
• The intentions behind the original Climate Adaptation Management Plan (C.A.M.P.) legislation;
• The issuance Governor Bakers Executive Order 569 pertaining to climate adaptation management and why the Coalition feels it doesn’t go far enough;
• The current efforts and politics of getting C.A.M.P passed as either a stand-alone piece of legislation or as part of the Governors Environmental Bond bill.

Please rsvp to GAC Chairman Russ Feldman AIA at [email protected] or AIA MA Executive Director, John Nunnari at [email protected]
