Tackling renovation of existing buildings often challenges the Codes knowledge, skill and insights of even the most experienced architects and codes consultants, making this another popular topic in our annual cycle of codes presentations.

In this second great codes presentation of 2017, Doug Anderson will dig into some of recent challenges with using the IEBC. He’ll go on to examine different code approaches for similar issues and illustrate some creative code analysis. Doug will also discuss how to show code compliance to the Building Official.
