Code and MEP Changes are Coming! Highlights of the 9th Edition of the MSBC

8:30 to 10:00:
Presentation by Guest Speakers Caitlin Gamache (Fire Protection Engineer) and Rocky Edwards (Vice President) from Cosentini Engineering (Codes Division) on the currently proposed code changes for the 9th Edition of the State Building Code. The tentative date of promulgation is July. Massachusetts will adopt the 2015 I-Codes, including an amended version of the 2015 IBC as the new 9th edition 780 CMR. This presentation will highlight some of the major and impactful changes between the 2009 I-Codes and the 2015 I-Codes with a focus on Chapters 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, and 30 of the IBC.
