Creativity, Architecture and Community Development with the Rose Fellowship

Join us for inspiring, first-hand accounts from six Enterprise Rose Architectural Fellows who have spent the last three years integrating design thinking, community engagement, and systems change into affordable housing and community development organizations across the country. Each fellow brings a unique perspective from working and learning alongside partners in their communities. They will share what has challenged them, where they have found inspiration, and what impact we can see from their work.
Michael Chavez, Project Development Manager at YouthBuild Boston and a former Rose Fellow with the Fairmount CDC Collaborative, will moderate a conversation with the fellows and audience after the presentations about the universal lessons learned from doing this kind of work.
Alexis Smith, Jewish Community Housing for the Elderly, Brighton MA
Annie Ledbury, East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation, Oakland CA
Brita Carlson, A Community of Friends, Los Angeles CA
James Arentson, Southwest Minnesota Housing Partnership, Slayton MN
Joshua Budiongan, Jefferson East Inc., Detroit MI
Stephen Klimek, The Cornerstone Group, Minneapolis MN
