Dear Friends, Runners, Sponsors, Colleagues, Rivals!

The Open Architecture Collaborative Boston (OACB) is happy to announce that we will be holding our 12th annual 5K fundraiser race again this year at Danehy Park in Cambridge, MA on Sunday, October 21st at 10am.

Firms - Please send runners to compete for the OACB Concrete Cup for tiered donations of $1000-Platinum, $750-Gold and $500-Silver. Donations are tax deductible and made to the BSA Foundation for the OACBoston 5K. Please email [email protected] for details on registering teams as a sponsoring firm.

Individual runners can register at: https://g2racereg.webconnex.com/AnnualOACBoston5K2018 with a $20 donation and the first 100 will receive a non-sweatshop race t-shirt, post-race refreshments, and be eligible for age group winner and raffle prizes. Registration will also be available at the race on race day.

The race proceeds this year will be used for a BSA committee initiative for a recovery project in Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria which devastated the Island one year ago.

I’d like to thank last year’s sponsors in particular for helping fund a project by our sister Chapter – OACHouston as well as making our 5K get together possible:

Behnisch Architekten - Uranium
LDa – Gold
The Green Engineer – Silver
Gensler – Silver
Tappe – Silver
Perkins + Will – Silver
DesignLAB - Silver
Davis Square Architects
Boston Society of Architects/AIA

Danehy Park is a short walk from the Alewife T station and free parking is available at the parking lot for the park at New Street. Please allow time to check in and pick up your number before the 10am sharp start of the race.

The Boston Chapter of the Open Architecture Collaborative operates as a Committee of the BSA, fundraising and distributing donations through the BSA and the BSA Foundation
