This session will provide a brief overview of the Climate Action Plan, engagement findings so far, and a timeline for plan release and additional engagement opportunities.

The 2030 Climate Action Plan lays out a roadmap for 2026-2030 to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, build resilience to climate impacts, and ensure that the benefits of climate action — clean air, good jobs, healthy homes, and vibrant green spaces — are shared by all. Grounded in climate justice, this plan reflects the voices of communities most affected by climate change and charts a path toward a healthier, more inclusive, and more sustainable future for every Bostonian. The City of Boston will release a second draft in Fall 2025 and the final 2030 Climate Action Plan in early 2026.
