Committee on the Environment (COTE), Sustainability Education Committee, Revit Users Group, Building Enclosure Council (BEC), K-12 Educational Design: Daylighting - Modeling and IRL (In Real Life) (Virtual)
Daylighting is an essential aspect of design – it shapes spaces, helps regulate bodily rhythms, and is inherently a resilient strategy. Daylighting requirements must be balanced with glare and window wall ratios. Lake Flato’s Director of Technology, Dan Stine, will present their approach to design with daylight sharing their workflow, which integrates Revit /Rhino within Revit and Climate Studio, showing built works. Ellenzweig’s Design Principal Peter Herman will present case studies of buildings with celebrated daylit spaces, highlighting a different workflow with Sefaira and Enscape.
