Campus Security—What Is It? How Do We Create It? How Do We Keep It?

Our panel of experts will give you a comfort level with either reviewing your campus security plan or helping to create one. While a two hour program can't give you all the answers, our panelists can help you to take a high level look at what physical security is, some lay person's language of security concept basics, and some advice on what to do to both implement and maintain a security program. Every aspect of campus life and all of its users are both a part of any system, and can help make or break a program.

Attendees can expect to gain a solid understanding of what questions to ask, and which stakeholders must be involved for a security program to be accepted and effective.

Our panel includes experts with long experience in campus law enforcement, campus card and services program administration, campus design, and security hardware and physical security. Panelists:
John DiFava, Director of Campus Service and Chief of Police, MIT Marc Robillard, Executive Director of Auxiliary Services, Boston University Don Cherry, Jr., PSP, CCPR, Electronic Hardware Specialist, Allegion, plc Moderator Imran Khan, AIA, LEED AP Architect, HDR Architects, Inc.

For those who qualify, 2 LUs are available.
