Current Design Work - Environments for Seniors
Please join us for the October meeting of the Design for Aging Knowledge Community. This month will feature recent work by our members, showcasing examples of the latest design solutions - and lessons learned - within the field of architecture for senior living. Our presenters will include architects Robin Tufts AIA of JSA, featuring the new Sunrise of Newton project - and the successful resolution of an entitlement nightmare; Diane Dooley AIA of DiMella Shaffer, showing the pilot project that will deinstitutionalize the traditional nursing units at Hebrew Senior Life's Roslindale campus; and Ruth Neeman AIA of LWDA, who will present an assortment of senior living work and stories from the field.
