Spreading the Age Friendly Boston Message at Environments for Aging 2016

Impressed by DFA’s commitment and partnership with Age-Friendly Boston Initiative, several members of DFA were invited to present at the Annual Environments for Aging (EFA) Conference in Austin, TX on April 9-12. National interest in the work the committee is doing resulted in three different sessions during the three-day conference.

This meeting will share the EFA experience, the role DFA has earned around the table with the City of Boston, and how you can become involved in this exciting and worthwhile project.

The Boston DFA has been recognized as a partner by the City of Boston and has had the opportunity to provide a voice for the 60 + Boston residents at the BRA, Parks and Recreation Dept. and the Innovation Housing Lab to name a few.

The future of our project that is now recognized nationally - is dependent on widening the base and sharing opportunities to get involved.
