Updates from the AIA AAH & Holiday Networking Reception

You probably already know that our Healthcare Facilities Committee is the local chapter of the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health (AAH), but what does that mean? Who are they and what are they up to? How does this relate to your work and how might you get involved with this knowledge community? Come join us for a presentation and discussion with national board members of the AIA AAH: Vince Della Donna AIA (current AAH President); Tushar Gupta AIA (President-elect), Brenna Costello AIA (Education committee chair) and Kirsten Waltz AIA (Code and standards committee chair). Learn about the Four Pillars of Healthcare Architecture (AAH, FGI, ACHA and AAH Foundation) and how they interrelate and collaborate. Get an update on new initiatives at the AAH, share your thoughts and hear about ways for you to get involved.

Before and after, we will have a Holiday Reception for a chance to catch up with your colleagues and our guests, and to give us input as we finalize our 2019 schedule for our committee.
