Join us at the BSA Space for the Womxn in Design (WiD) Spring Open House, featuring a Speed Mentorship event focused on career development in architecture and design. This informal gathering invites attendees to bring their resumes or career questions and connect with experienced professionals for quick conversations, feedback, and guidance. The evening will also offer an opportunity to learn more about Womxn in Design (WiD), meet members of the leadership team, and discover ways to get involved with WiD programs and initiatives throughout the year.
To help guide conversations, attendees will be grouped by experience level:
1–5 years of experience
Supported by the Emerging Professionals Network (EPNet), this portion will be open to anyone in that experience range who would like to stop by, ask questions, or receive quick resume feedback.
6–10 years of experience
Supported by the WiD Mid-Career Mentorship Program, this group will connect with senior professionals for more focused career conversations. Advance sign-up will be available to help match participants with mentors and plan accordingly.
Whether you’re looking for resume feedback, career advice, or simply an opportunity to connect with peers and mentors, we hope you’ll join us for this welcoming evening of conversation, mentorship, and community. Come meet fellow designers, creatives, and advocates, and learn more about what our subcommittees are preparing for this year. From programming and community outreach to tours and mentorship, there’s something for everyone. This is a great opportunity to discover how you can contribute your voice, skills, and passion to our ongoing initiatives.
Whether you're curious about upcoming events, eager to join a subcommittee, or just want to connect with like-minded professionals, we’d love to have you there!
