Tour of the new NICU at Brigham and Women's Hospital

Research on the neurological development of newborns is being applied to the design of the expansion and renovation of the NICU at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Bringing insights from recently completed research she conducted while at Washington University, Dr. Terri Inder, the new Chair, Department of Pediatric Newborn Medicine promoted the introduction of three Growth and Development rooms for 18 babies in addition to Single Family Rooms for 46 babies. The Brigham NICU project includes a complex 15,000 square foot expansion over the Hospital’s labor and delivery floor as well as the full renovation of the existing 20,000 square foot NICU. Meet at the NICU on the 6th floor of the Connors Center for Women’s Health reached through the 45 or 75 Francis Street entrances to the Hospital.

Advance reservations are required and will be limited to 30 people.
