The Boston Society of Architects is excited to launch its first regional design guidebook What is Adaptive Reuse?: Practical Solutions for the Cape & Islands. This guidebook is designed for property owners, designers, planners, developers, and community advocates looking for realistic pathways to create housing through adaptive reuse. Grounded in projects from across the region, this event will showcase the Old Bank Street Firehouse Case Study, including a tour of the project and grounds, and highlight best practices for navigating regulatory process for projects like these on Cape Cod with a a brief presentation from the Cape Cod Commission.
