Delve into design for Entertainment, Cruising and the Arts with a tour of Wilson Butler Architect’s creative studio overlooking Post Office Square. It’s here that Architects and Interior Designers work on projects ranging from a ‘SkyPad’ (aka Bungee Dome) on board the latest Royal Caribbean’s cruise ships, immersive theater experiences at sea, a ground-up world-class performing arts center at Auburn University, and a historic restoration of a 1927 Moorish-style theater. Wilson Butler’s designers will explain the process and demonstrate tools utilized for designing and imagining in 3D, through both physical models and virtual reality. Come learn about the firm, our designers and architects, and experience a fun, creative and collaborative studio.
WiD Wednesdays are casual networking events that occur on the first (and in this special case second) Wednesday of every month with a focus on celebrating local design.
