Owner/Architect/Builder Partnership for Successful Residential Design

Partnering early in the design process with a contractor can add to the success of a residential project of almost any size. John Kruse and Andrew Childs from Sea-Dar Construction will be joining us for our September meeting to present how to create this partnership with a builder on a residential project. They will discuss the importance of the pre-construction process for homeowners as well as for builders and architects. You will learn what are important aspects in building the right team. John and Andrew will review how construction budgets are created as well as how to maintain the budget during design and during construction. Finally they will review how to manage client expectations so that they have a realistic expectation of the project cost as well as the time it will take to bring a project from design through construction - without compromising the quality of the work. Please join us to kick off the Fall season!

For those who qualify, 1.5 LUs are available.
