The 9th Edition of the Massachusetts State Building Code

The 9th Edition of the Massachusetts State Building Code (780 CMR) went into effect on October 20, 2017 with a concurrency period through December 31, 2017. This update brings with it several important energy code changes. This webinar will focus on changes to the residential energy provisions of the Massachusetts State Building Code, including new requirements designed to facilitate the future installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) panels. Other changes include additional compliance paths in the form of alternative energy performance rating options, HERS path certificate requirements, and required credentials for duct leakage and ventilation system performance testers. This program will also discuss several changes that occurred with the switch from the 2012 to the 2015 IECC, including the new stretch code.

Your RSVP would be most appreciated, so we can properly arrange seating and refreshments.
Library doors open at 9AM.

For those who qualify, 1.5 LU/HSWs are available.
