Architecture in the Democracy: A Round Table on Design In the Context of Public Process

For our December meeting, we are very excited to welcome Jonathan Levi FAIA, founder of Jonathan Levi Architects, to lead a round table discussion on design in the context of public process. Utilizing examples from his own practice, Jonathan will examine with us methods of weaving the public into the design process, and best practices for working closely with institutions and communities to elicit their self-knowledge expertise. Jonathan will describe mediation-based consensus building and how this produces projects that are truly co-created, thereby making an architecture that is understood and embraced by the community as their own. We hope you can join us!
