Design-In: Mindfulness at Work

As Designers we spend most of our waking hours creating exterior spaces for others but how often do we look inwards to design our own inner space? It's easy to be consumed by daily tasks and lose focus of our inner balance. How can we design-in to be more resilient, creative and joyful?

Spend an evening with us and make time to nurture your inner space and answer this question together.

In this interactive session, Architect turned Mindfulness Consultant Ishita Sharma will introduce simple tools to de-stress in your workday and lead us in a guided meditation.

Why Mindfulness at work? In the age of stress and distraction, we need to be present and centered to truly thrive at work! Mindfulness and Meditation cultivate our most precious resource- our inner space. We cannot control daily stresses and challenges, but we can learn to respond more consciously to them and stay resilient under pressure. Like any other skill, presence, resilience and creativity can be nurtured with training and practice. Join us to find out how!

Founder and Director of Come to Center, Ishita Sharma empowers individuals and organizations to thrive using Mindfulness, Meditation and Facilitation. She blends a decade of professional practice as an architect/artist and a lifetime of spiritual practice to personalize latest research and age-old wisdom to clients' contexts. Her clients include multinationals, startups and businesses in diverse sectors, non-profits, CEOs, scientists, designers and artists.

The event is FREE and open to the public. There will be light refreshments and time for conversation after the session so please RSVP for accurate headcount. You will also have a chance to win a free Mindfulness session for your whole office!
